Melissa Bellassai

I’m Melissa, owner and director of Mesh Hair Spa.

As a hairdresser for more than 16-years I love the diversity of work my portfolio includes. While working at both small and large salons I’ve gained many cutting and styling honours, including winning photographic colour work.

When opening Mesh Hair Spa in 2008, I had two goals in mind.

  1. Bringing unique service provision and style to our clients; and
  2. Becoming the hairdresser Clifton Hill was missing.

So, I created a modern and sleek feeling hair salon. But also one that’s inviting and relaxing. A place where people can enjoy a little pampering and just switch off from the busy world outside.

I’m also proud that Mesh is a supportive environment for our expert hairdressers. We always encourage one another’s goals and development in the hair and beauty industry.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and love my French bulldog Manu. Eating out in Melbourne’s hotspots, cooking and a little home decorating keep me busy – I love being creative.

I’m Christine and I love creating amazing hair colour for my clients. Whether you’re after a simple look or you – like me – love the totally out there, I take great care with my work.

Making my clients feel beautiful with some glamour waves to finish off their hairstyle is also my forte.

I have a passion for fashion, and spend a lot of my downtime keeping up with the latest hair, makeup and clothing trends.

Specialities: Hairdresser and makeup artist

I’m Leah and I’ve been a hairdresser for more than a decade and a makeup artist for five years.

Being able to do both hair and makeup for any occasion is my specialty.

Everyone is different and that’s what I love about my job. No matter what your hair type or skin complexion, I enjoy helping people feel confident and stylish.

Getting to the gym and, of course, having a manicure and pedicure are usually at the top of my list in my spare time.
